WigWag CEO Speaks at SVIEF 2015 Smart Home Panel
Last month, our very own CEO and Co-founder Ed Hemphill was invited to participate in the Smart Future Summit at the 5th annual Silicon Valley Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum in Santa Clara, California. Ed also accepted a SVIEF Top 30 Innovation Award on behalf of WigWag, which you can read more about here.
The panel consisted of industry professionals from an array of backgrounds both within the US and abroad. Panelists discussed the challenges of the current state of the Internet of Things (IoT), the need for unity among IoT protocols, and the implications that go along with a fast-growing number of connected devices.
Ed was joined on stage by Moderator Luke Tang (General Manager of TechCode Accelerator USA) and panelists Jacek Grebski (Partner of SWARM), Gerry Liu, PhD. (Vice President of Global Business Development at Wistron Neweb Corporation), and Zhanggen Ni (Chairman of the Board & General Manager of Healthcare Co., Ltd. and CEO of Mlily USA).
