WigWag Co-Founder and CEO to speak and accept SVIEF Innovation award

This weekend at the Silicon Valley Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF), Ed Hemphill our co-founder and CEO will be accepting the Top 30 Innovation Award for our work in pioneering an open-source Internet of Things (IoT) platform to simplify home automation.

Our team has spent the last two years building an open-source IoT platform based on our software run-time, deviceJS. DeviceJS is the software at the heart of WigWag's products including the WigWag Relay. DeviceJS transforms the physical world of smart devices into a programmable platform--enabling connected devices to be more efficient, manageable, secure, and automatic.

We are excited to have SVIEF recognize our team for all the hard work we've done to date. We are even more excited and honored to learn that we were selected from over 300 nominees.

Ed will be sharing his unique perspectives in a forum session with other industry leaders in the Smart Home and Internet of Things industries this Sunday at SVIEF. He will be part of the Smart Home panel discussion at the SVIEF Smart Future Summit. Other panelists include Jacek Grebski (Partner at SWARM), Gerry Liu (PhD and Vice President of Global Business Development at Wistron Neweb Corporation), and Zhanggen Ni (Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Jiangsu Healthcare Co., Ltd. and CEO of Mlily). The panel will be moderated by Luke Tang, General Manager of TechCode Accelerator (US).

The Smart Home session will take place from 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 27 in Hall B of the Santa Clara Convention Center.

What industry-related questions about the Smart Home or IoT would you ask Ed and the other panelists? We'd love to hear from you!
